Petco is the only top US pet retailer who recommends 0.25 gallon (4 cups) as a minimum tank size for a Betta fish. This is intended to maximize opportunities for Petco's profit at the expense of Betta fish wellbeing.
Please consider signing the petition below. If Petco makes this change, it would not prevent them from selling tanks that are smaller, but it would help their customers make better choices for healthier Bettas!
